Abstract


The outbreak of the global financial crisis in 2008 , again to the East Asian countries sounded the alarm that an economic zone economies, which is better to have an effective mechanism of monetary cooperation , exchange rates and other financial instruments to prevent the extraterritorial countries or economies shift the crisis the best way. East Asia , mainly in Japan and South Korea to establish a single currency like the European Union remains a challenge due to various reasons , but to establish a monetary cooperation arrangements between the three countries , to achieve three countries exchange rate coordination , not out of reach . Frequent trade between Japan and South Korea , the huge amount of trade , while the three countries are highly complementary economically interdependent economic relationship . Therefore , the demand for a stable exchange rate environment in the three countries . The same time , from the political , after the financial crisis , Japan's foreign policy , the return to Asia , the importance to the Asian trend on Japan-US relations , the pursuit of a peer-to-peer relationship . In the Sino-Japanese bilateral relations in 2008 , Japan signed the \That same year, the leaders of Japan and South Korea meeting in Fukuoka, Japan , Three partnership in the joint statement : to promote regional cooperation in the principle of openness, transparency , mutual trust , mutual benefit, respect for cultural differences . Marks the establishment of new cooperation mechanisms in East Asia , plays an important role in promoting regional cooperation in East Asia and the impact of monetary cooperation in East Asia , which also provided the political foundation . In this paper, through the political and economic level as well as international relations theory to analyze the feasibility and necessity of exchange rate coordination system construction , build the exchange rate coordination system is monetary cooperation in East Asia , and even the East Asian Community building key . Japan and South Korea must seize the opportunity to shelve disputes, it is in the interests of all countries of choice .
