Abstract


Ancient village is an important part of historical and cultural heritage, bearing the Chinese agricultural civilization for thousands of years. There is very important historical and cultural values because of its presence can effectively reflect the Chinese people at different times, different regions and different stages of economic and social development landscape. With the rapid development of people’s material and cultural living standards, ancient village tourism becomes an important type of cultural tourism, and its economic value is increasingly prominent.In the process of protection and development on ancient villages, the people need find a balance between protection and development, at the same time, consider the demands of stakeholders as far as possible. For tourism development of the ancient village, the main stakeholders include grass-roots government, industry and local communities, and their decisions not only affect local people’s life style and tourism development model, but also the local sustainable development and social stability. Therefore, searching for a suitable model for local village tourism development and analyzing to stakeholders’ benefits to achieve harmony between human and nature, people with each other, which is an important proposition under the background of building a harmonious society and a new socialist countryside.In this paper, the ancient village development in Zhejiang Jiangshan are researched with stakeholder theory, game theory, literature research, interview research and analytical comparison. The conclusions obtained are as following:a coordination mechanism with smooth communication for stakeholders should be established. The local government should play a key role on propaganda and guidance in the early stage of ancient village, and excite the activity of the enterprises and local communities in a relatively mature stage by decreasing direct management.
