Abstract


Student counselor is playing a more and more important role in higher education. The research analysis, the validity and reliability of the three instruments prove that they are fit for the researching purpose and requirements. it takes the questionnaire、interview etc. to measure the subjects. Then through the methods of related analysis, Analysis of variance and multi-regression analysis,we get the conclusions as the following:1、The status quo of career decision-making for the future about the College students’ counselor, at Henan province, is that most of the counselors, for a long time, choose not to do counselors, and if there is opportunity to do others, they will do!2、Demographic variables have impact on the counselors’ career decision for the future, and Gender, Rank, educational career and professional background may influence the counselors’ future career decision-making as an intermediate variables.3、The reliability and validity of the scale is good, which has a promotional value.4 Self-efficacy, self-characteristics, social evaluation, work characteristics as well as the management system are the major factors which have impact on the counselors’ future Career decision-making.5、The result, which is got by use of correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis,shows that there is very significant correlation between the factor impacting on the counselors’ career decision-making for the future and the their career decision-making current situation:When we kept demographic variables controlled, self-efficacy and management system are the most predictive index.On the basis of this study, we put forward some advice and measures to strengthen the counselors’ career development.
