Abstract


In this paper, domestic scholars translated or preparation of the \characteristics of the development , and thus examine students' interpersonal values ??in the big Five Personality and school adjustment relations role. The results showed that : ( 1 ) Students' Personality characteristics are: boys than girls prefer Extraversion , Agreeableness ; girls than boys prefer open personality ; liberal arts students are more likely than science students neuroticism . ( 2 ) Students' Interpersonal Values ??characteristics: girls than boys tend to insecurity, obedience orientation ; boys than girls tend to separate orientation ; science students are more likely than liberal arts students self-presentation orientation ; orientation on mutual trust and benefit , freshman > junior > sophomore . ( 3 ) the characteristics of college students adapt to school : liberal arts students more than science students to adapt to college life , but not as good as a high level of interpersonal adaptation science stranger ; freshman students adapt significantly higher than sophomore , sophomore students to adapt to significant lower than junior , freshman and junior students in two dimensions were not significantly different . ( 4 ) Students independently utilitarian interpersonal orientation with the school in general neuroticism adapt completely from the role of intermediary between ; obedience , mutual trust and benefit , utilitarian orientation in the overall adaptation between extraversion and school plays some intermediary role ; independent orientation in openness , agreeableness overall adaptation of the school , the sense of responsibility and obedience orientation in the overall school plays some intermediary role between adaptation .
