Abstract


Since the reform and opening up, the four state-owned commercial banks, led by Bank of China started to go overseas market. With the rise of the tide of economic and financial globalization in the 1990s, the four state-owned commercial banks have accelerated the pace of overseas expansion, especially the Bank of China and Industrial and Commercial Bank, the number of foreign institutions is growing, expanding distribution, covering the world's major network of national and regional institutions has been basically formed. However, the parent bank to pursue expansion in the number of foreign institutions at the same time, how to achieve survival and development in the overseas market has been the foreign institutions individuals need to focus on the real problem. Depth study of the impact of the operation and management of China's state-owned commercial banks, foreign institutional factors and strategy, will help to deepen the understanding of bank transnational business theory, feasibility of strategic proposals for the offshore development of China's state-owned commercial banks. At present the domestic multinational operations in the bank's research emphasis on motivation multinational operations of state-owned banks, regional distribution of foreign institutions, the overall strategy of the transnational operations of foreign institutions in the form of choice and the parent bank, less involved in the operation and management of individuals of foreign institutions. In this paper, through case studies and policy analysis of the operation and management of the foreign institutions were discussed, case study part of the innovation of this paper. Banks in developed countries and developing countries, the bank's foreign operation are compared, pointed out that both comparability does not lead to the experience of banks in developed countries for transnational business at this stage of China's state-owned commercial banks do not have much of a draw. Then this article is selected in the international financial center of several bank foreign institutions in developing countries most representative case studies, analysis and comparison of the various agencies of the background evolution the CAP portfolio strategy and the operating indicators, reveal China which state-owned commercial banks to foreign institutions in the international interbank level, and also summarizes several developing countries banks available for reference by the Chinese state-owned commercial banks to foreign institutions operating strategy. Subsequently, the current business strategy of China's state-owned commercial banks, foreign institutions, such as marketing, collaborative linkage and risk management and control strategies, and pointed out the problems and deficiencies.
