Feasibility study is the necessary work to increase the effectiveness and validity of decision-marking for project investment, and it is very meaningful for the sustainable development of an enterprise and national economy, because it is able to insure that the resource of an enterprise is utilized rationally.N Electric Group Co., Ltd(NEG) is a large and first-established manufacture in China, handling high voltage electric porcelain and appliance, which is a major state gear industry and an important ratepaying enterprise in mechanical industy. As one of the 500 largest mechanical enterprises, NEG maintain the leading position in a long run with the advantages in developing extra-high voltage(EHV) products, outstanding in talents in industrialization transformation, capability of independent innovation and research and the favorable management and sound finance etc, all these make NEG keep ahead of the craft brothers.The paper aims at the EHV and SHV(superhigh voltage) condenser bushing project invested together by NEG and G BYD Group.The paper focuses on feasibility study of EHV and SHV condenser bushing project by the method of engineering economics analysis and the criterions of project management, which supplies references of investment decision to the enterprise.In this paper, the feasibility of NEG EHV and SHV condenser bushing project is studied by means of the incorporate method of qualitative analysis and quantitative evaluation, static analysis and dynamic analysis. The paper study mainly the feasibility of the market and technology, the conditions internal the enterprise, production scale, technical programs, marketing strategy and price management, investment estimation and fund collection, cost estimation, sales volume and tax, and so on. In addition, the basic financial reports of EHV and SHV condenser bushing are made based on the analysis of some financial index such as payoff period of investment (static and dynamic), Net present value, internal rate of return, etc. The results show that the project is not only able to make good economic benefit for NEG, but also can bring the favorable social benefits. Therefore, the project is feasible.
