Abstract


With the all-around and profound revolution in people’s life style, production style, mental framework and value notion, physical culture of university campus, an essential part of the advanced culture in our country, is transforming and reorganizing stealthily when the current economic structure and social structure in our country are skipping unitarily.Based on the current constructional situation of the physical culture of university campus in our country, using the manner which combines theories with practice, by dint of the knowledge and theories of physical education, sociology, culture and ethnics, taking advantage of some research methods such as literature data, chat investigation and logical analysis, this paper starts with defining physical culture of university campus, sums up its essential characteristics and functions and focus on its five basic conformations that conclude substantial culture, systematic culture, mental culture, behavioral culture and value culture from the lay of theory, ideology and notion. This paper aims to innovate and develop the physical education in the university campus and construct a suit of behavioral patterns and a valuation system, adapting to the development of the higher education when our society is changing quickly.As it is shown from the research: 1. The popularity of higher education is the main factor which restricts the development of the physical culture of university campus when the quickly changed society, the globalizing economy, the various politics and the developing society result in the cultural variation and extended enrollment. 2. The physical culture of university campus has five basic conformations that conclude substantial culture, systematic culture, mental culture, behavioral culture and value culture. 3. In order to construct the physical culture of university campus, the following measures might be effective: beautifying the physical substance environment in the university campus, upgrading the physical substance level in the university campus, perfecting the physical bylaw in the university campus, strengthening the notion about healthy physical culture, reinforcing the education about honesty and faith for the undergraduates, energetically organizing some physical activities which are related to teaching, body building, technique competition, intellectual competition and drumbeating, inserting the value notion that physical education is some kind of culture and increasing its drumbeating.The research fruit in the paper will have referenced value when the current branches and some interrelated organizations which are in charge of the physical education and culture in universities make decisions about constructing physical culture in the university campus to accelerate the campus to be harmonious. When it is applied to guide and research the task about physical culture in the university campus, this paper not only has the profound practical meaning, but also the theoretical steering meaning.
