Abstract

Just as luminous mechanism, metal organic light-emitting materials can be divided into organic electrophosphorescent materials and organic fluorescent materials. In organic electrophosphorescent materials, luminescence materials of heavy metal iridium become scientists’resarch focus. While in organic fluorescent materials, rearch of luminescence materials of rare earth Eu complexes are also hot spot.Heavy metal iridium complexes can be divided into neutral iridium complexes and ionic iridium complexes by structure. Comparing to luminescence materials of neutral iridium complexes, quantities and types of luminescence materials of ionic iridium complexes are less. They show many advantages which the former don’t possess. So the development of new and diverse ionic iridium complexes will play an important role in improving performance of OLED device. However, comparing to luminescence materials of heavy metal iridium complexes, luminescence materials of rare earth Eu complexes have special which is different from the former. They launch the high pure red light, which provide a new direction for lagging red material of OLEDs.Therefore, we have synthesised many new kinds of ionic iridium complexes and rare earth Eu complexes in this paper. Concrete research content are mainly from the following four aspects.1、We have designed and synthesized six types of phenanthrene derivatives, four of which have structure of unilateral N∧N and two other of which have structure of bilateral N∧N. These compounds are characterized and identified by methods of IR, NMR, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. We also have studied their photophysical properties. Which provide foundation for further studying iridium and Eu complexes.2、We have synthesized four new kinds of ionic iridium complexes which use phFodz as circular ligand and use Dpq, Dmpq, HL and EL as auxiliary ligands. These iridium complexes are characterized and identified by methods of IR, NMR, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. We also have studied their photophysical properties. Experimental results show that fluorescence emission peak of this kind of iridium complexes become redshift from yellow green light to orange light with conjugate degree of ligands increaseing,3、We have synthesized two new kinds of qunolin derivatives and use them as circular ligand, meanwhile, we also use Dpq, Dmpq, HL and EL as auxiliary ligands, and finally have synthesized eight new kinds of ionic iridium complexes. These compounds are characterized and identified by methods of IR, NMR, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. We also have studied their photophysical properties. Experimental results show that fluorescence emission peak of all this kind of iridium complexes lie in range of orange light.4、We have synthesized five new kinds of ternary Eu complexes which use acac as first ligand and use Phen, Dpq, Dmpq, HL and EL as second ligands. These Eu complexes are characterized and identified by methods of IR, NMR, mass spectrometry and elemental analysis. We also have studied their photophysical properties. Experimental results show that fluorescence emission peak of all this kind of Eu complexes remain unchanged whatever structure of ligands change.
