The Tibetan wildly distributes in the plateau and high-cold land in China,mainly including Tibet,Gansu,Qinghai,Inner Mongolia and other places.And Tibetan is one of the most characteristic nation of China,whose building is the one of our country’s precious national architectures.On the list of our fist group of architectures in“World Natural and Culture Heritage”,Tibetan-style buildings,Sino-Tibetan buildings occupy one seat accordingly.With the national culture and regional architecture causing worldwide concern,our country’s Tibetan-style architecture also have great attention. Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture is belong to Amdo zone,and is located in intersection zone of Loess Plateau and Qinghai-Xizang Plateau,has unique natural environment,complex and changeable topography.Tibetan people accumulate a set of unique construction experience,and create a brilliant Tibetan architectural art,which also have a good adaptation to the local harsh geographical and climatic environment, formatting the characteristics of nature environment adaptation.Besides,Gannan orienting in the junction of Gansu,Qinghai and Sichuan province,has always been the gateway of the Central Plains to the Western regions and Tiber.It is national corridor of multi-ethnic brought together,combined with Tibetan Buddhism being popular here, formatting the situation of collision and integration of national and religious culture. More than 800 years of“a fusion of religion and politics”system makes religious culture penetrate social system,economic structure,custom and peculiarity,production and other fields of life,also marks the building deeply with a religious and cultural stigma.North Gansu style architecture develop with the development of religious culture,and it also self-metabolism,evoloves to form a series of religious and culteral characteristics of the adaptation.By the analysis of the features of Tibetan stytle building and comparision of northern Gansu stytle,Tibetan traditional,and surrouding area’s buildings,combinding with typical examples,this paper give concludions of the feature of north Gansu regional buildings.And on the basis of former conclisions,discuss and summarize the building’s adaption to natural enviroment and religious culture.With the development of the society,gradual popilarization of science and tecnology, and a wide range of information exchange,north Gansu Tibetan arthetecture is bound to face updates and transformation.This paper anlysize the development and problem of the northern Gansu Tibetan arthetecture,try to make some methods and measures to protect and develop buildings.It has a relistic and feasible.
