Objective: To investigate the feeding index score system in the evaluation of rural infant growth and development status . : Lai Jianqiang feeding index scoring system based on evaluation of Linyi City, plum Town 206 6-24 month-old infant feeding index score ; calculated according to the WHO reference standard of the five groups of infants Z score ( WHZ weight for height Z score ; the HAZ , height for age Z score ; WAZ, weight for age Z score ; BAZ, age, body mass index Z score ; HCZ , height , head circumference Z score ) , analysis of the feeding index scores with various Z score correlation. Household income , infants spend , the parents' level of education , occupation and other factors to be included in the scope of the investigation and analysis of its relationship with the feeding index . Results : The study sample feeding index average (8.26 ± 1.90) higher than the mean of the two types of rural feeding index ( 5.5 ± 2.6 ) (P <0.05) . Groups of the infant feeding index and its HAZ was a positive correlation ( P <0.05 ) . Between feeding index qualified group failed group ( feeding index ≥ 70% of the total score for qualified ) the HAZ , the WAZ HCZ The difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) . The total feeding index of the sample pass rate of 72.33% , higher than the national second-class rural pass rate (20.8 %) , and the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) . Feeding index scores and parents educational level was positively correlated with a correlation coefficient of 0.167 , P = 0.012 ; their children and spend no correlation with HAZ, WAZ, HCZ is positively correlated , the correlation coefficients were 0.230,0.175,0.143 P value 0.01,0.013,0.043 ; WHZ, BAZ no correlation , P values ??were > 0.05 . Conclusions: The feeding index down instead of the growth and development of the infant groups and can be used for a comprehensive evaluation of infant feeding practices and areas for improvement , but the validity of its application .
