Abstract


Family education,especially in early childhood,It has far-reaching impact on the development of the individual’s life.In the real situation of family education,whether intentional or unintentional words and deeds of all the parents have been exerting a subtle influence on the growing children.Throughout former studies on the educational behavior of Parents,on one hand, most of them learned about the current situation of family education at the macro level by using quantitative research methods,however,lack of detailed description and analysis at the micro-level.On the other hand,most of them regarded Parents as objects and let parents report their own educational behavior.Voice of children in the family education was neglected.This study adopts qualitative research methods,such as participation and non-participant observation,formal and informal interviews and physical analysis methods.It takes an ordinary family in Chongqing as an example.Based on the real situation of family education,It regards parents and children as objects.It records what is happening in the family,including true educational stories of the family and what the children think of parents’ educational behavior,evaluation and expectations.It focuses on the parents’ educational behavior from children’ perspective and what the children expect their parents.It aims at offering reference and recommendations for the current practice of family education.It also expects to make a new attempt at research methods of early childhood family education,enriching the practice research.The result shows that:What the children expect "good fathers,good mothers," are parents’ basic literacy,the relationship between parents and children,the relationship between the parents.Through in-depth analysis,the performance characteristics of "good fathers,good mothers," contain that:Parents should focus on their own quality improvement continuously.Parents should create a harmonious family atmosphere for the children as a unity of triple role.Parents should be inclined to the psychological needs of children.Parents should play a different role separately as "a good father,and a good mother".Based on the results,the following suggestions are:Parents should maintain a positive and optimistic attitude towards life.Parents should keep identical educational behavior,while educating their children.Parents should avoid preaching and lay stress on communicating with their children.Parents should pay attention to the details of life, Parents should realize family education is a two-way and can even be a win-win.
