Abstract


Scientific and rational evaluation of teachers will not only be able to provide useful information for school administrators , parents , and play a significant role for improving the level of teachers to improve the quality of teaching in primary and secondary schools . Currently, teacher evaluation has become one of the important work of the American education administration , this work has played an important role in improving teaching quality, increase the level of teachers . Maturing teacher evaluation system in the United States , while the teacher evaluation system in China started relatively late , there are many aspects of research and discussion . In this thesis, the evaluation mode of a school district in the United States and the state primary and secondary school teachers and their impact on the professional development of teachers , in order to provide reference and experience of our teacher evaluation . This paper is divided into four parts : the first part : This paper discusses the study of the origins of this problem , theoretical significance and practical significance of the study , and reviewed the literature . Part II: discussed the overall situation of the evaluation of primary and secondary school teachers in the United States . The context of the development of teacher evaluation , evaluation of the course of development of the primary and secondary school teachers , the evaluation of primary and secondary school teachers developments . Part III: U.S. Washoe County School District and the Missouri School teacher evaluation model to analyze the characteristics of this evaluation mode and its positive impact on the professional development of teachers . Part IV: evaluation of primary and secondary school teachers where the inspiration for our analysis . The first analysis of the basic status quo of China 's teacher evaluation , and then for the lack of my teacher evaluation in we can learn from the local American teacher evaluation .
