Abstract

Facing the increasing aggravation of the resource shortage and environmental pollution, recycling of waste and used household appliances has been thought highly by those developed countries. It has become one of the most effective ways to realize the sustainable development. The recycling and disposal in China started relatively late. For the lack of the restraint of laws and regulations, the existing recycling activities were still a kind of spontaneous behavior prompted by economic interest.At present, the way of disposing end-of-life electronic products in China is that the secondhand dealers reclaim and resell the old electronic products, and then small workshop and trash station deal with useless one, which pollute severely and waste so much resource. Furthermore, the process of recycle does not conform to the recycling regulation which will come into operation sooner. However, the manufacture and third party enterprise take the recycling model of reverse logistics which used in the developed countries such as self- management recycling model and third party recycling model must have high condition, so few companies of china can take the two foreign models. Under this condition, the paper analyzes the actual situation of our country, the characteristic of end-of-life electronic products and the theory of the reverse logistics value chain, then proposes that enterprises of our country construct a union model which include the retail merchant, the third party logistics enterprise, the manufacturer alliance and the peddlers to recycle the end-of-life electronic products by cooperating with each other.The research of the paper has three parts. First, based on the detailed analysis of circular economy, reverse logistics, value chain theory, and the comparison of domestic and traditional recovery models, combined with the own characteristics of electronic products, the paper carries out a union model which include the retail merchant, the third party logistics enterprise, the manufacturer alliance and the peddlers to recycle the end-of-life electronic products by cooperating with each other. Second, the paper analysis that why manufacturers recycle the electronic products using game theory ,and designs the flows of the overall mode and the retail merchant, the third party logistics enterprise, the manufacturer alliance. At last, the paper offers the implementation steps and questions of union recycling model in reverse logistics of end-of-life electronic products, and also estimates the anticipated effect, and finally puts forward for further research aspects.The paper puts the union idea of logistics to use in reverse logistics, proposes the union recycling models. It is a new idea for the enterprise to recycle the end-of-life electronic products, which fits the condition of our country too. The implement of the model will reduce the company’s investment of recycling the end-of-life electronic products, and saves the cost of buying new material, and also decreases the environment pollution of the end-of-life products.
