Abstract


The energy consumption is the major anthropogenic sources of carbon emissions. With the continuous development of the economy in Qinghai Province, the energy structure of the sharp increase in energy consumption as well as to consume a large amount of coal resources in the short term is difficult to change. Therefore, the carbon emissions will inevitably appear a certain increase in the amplitude. Based on the basic equation of carbon emissions, the use of the logarithmic mean weight Divisia decomposition method (Logarithmic mean weight the Divisia method, LMD), Qinghai Province, per capita carbon emission factor decomposition model, quantitative analysis of the 1990-2007 energy structure, the impact of changes in factors such as energy efficiency and economic development of Qinghai Province, per capita carbon emissions, results show the contribution to the economic development of Qinghai Province, per capita carbon emissions rate of exponential growth, while the contribution rate than energy efficiency and energy structure of the suppression of the per capita carbon emissions in Qinghai low, but the energy efficiency of the inhibition of of Qinghai Province carbon emissions in growing. Overall, the energy structure continue to improve, but did not radically change, energy efficiency and energy structure of the of Qinghai Province carbon emissions inhibition is far less than the pulling effect of the economic development of Qinghai Province carbon emissions. This paper uses a gray forecasting methods, establish GM (1,1) model, Qinghai Province 1990-2007 carbon emissions data forecast 2008-2020 Qinghai carbon emissions, the analysis showed that: from the long-term development trends, Qinghai jumping growth of the GDP energy intensity due to the sharp increase of the industry in the national economy structure with the stability of the industrial structure and flatten carbon emissions will be increased with the proportion of industrial structure optimization and upgrading of industrial technology and high value-added products was sustained stable, slightly rising trend. The status quo in terms of carbon emissions, Qinghai Province sparsely populated, small-scale economic development, started late, so in a relatively stable period of modest growth. The next 12 years, Qinghai Province will face upward trend in energy intensity of GDP, but compared to the speed and extent of growth in GDP energy intensity of the various provinces of the country, is still a slow and mild growth. Considerable space of economic development in Qinghai Province, to achieve rapid economic development of the necessary energy consumption and CO 2 emissions increase is obvious, but not at the expense of the quality of the environment, should learn from the development of low-carbon economy strategy mode, in the modernization process go more to save energy and reduce CO 2 emissions from road, to avoid unnecessary waste and loss. Qinghai Province should play in the future, the rapid economic development in the advantages of hydropower resources and focus on development and utilization of new energy.
