Abstract

Oblique pile and pile groups are widely used in bridges, piers, high fill embankment as well as the basis for large-scale transmission line tower, and some straight pile also become the inclined piles because of the cause being under construction. At present, for oblique pile study focused on the study of their bearing capacity, while for oblique pile load-transfer study of traits is still very inadequate. Therefore, know the incline pile’s bearing the load of deformation properties and studyoblique single pile load transfer mechanismis that is badly in need of the problem solving in practice, meanwhile, has important practical significance of the project.Pile moment curve along the pile length that oblique pile of different inclination under vertical load, the deformation and bearing-behaviour bearing of oblique piles were studied.Using finite element analysis software ANSYS has simulated and analysed load-bearing characteristics of oblique pile under vertical load. The results of model tests and numerical simulation results were compared, when the inclination of oblique pile is less than 10 degrees,load-bearing characteristics of oblique pile and vertical piles is similar,it can calculate according to the calculation of vertical pile; When a smaller load, the load - settlement curve is close, with the load increasing, the oblique pile settlement is less than vertical pile; When the load is relatively larger, due to oblique pile bending deformation, makes the left oblique pile pile-soil separation and the right oblique pile soil compression deformation, cause friction resistance reduction within the scope of a certain length of pile, and with the increase of inclination, near the pile top,the scope of zero friction is larger.
