Abstract


With pedagogy \, motivation, autonomy , learning style is a specific aspect of individual differences research . Chinese college students learning style characteristics , the researchers conducted empirical research . Using a questionnaire survey on the relationship between undergraduates' English learning style characteristics and writing , the tool is designed English learning styles questionnaire -based study design and an English composition . Questionnaire in Qingdao University sophomore . Their English writing results obtained through the questionnaire . The findings of the survey and the students' writing scores are entered into the computer , the use of statistical software SPSS12.0 statistical analysis of the data . The study found that there is a big correlation between learning styles and writing , hands-on and visual learning style of the learner experience and auditory essay score higher field - independent than the field rely on the type , multi-use complex sentences ; learners, prudent than impulsive learners of English high tolerance of ambiguity than a low tolerance learners written essay words more , the error is much less , but no difference was found in the character of students . Based on the basis of this study , this paper puts forward some suggestions for English teachers . The practical significance of this study is that on the one hand to help the students to understand their own learning styles , learning weaknesses ; On the other hand , foreign language teachers can use a variety of teaching methods to try to cooperate with a variety of learning styles of the students .
