Abstract


Far not yet unified with the definition, but with the importance has attracted the attention of many researchers, and the emergence of a large number of people around with research papers and monographs. Everywhere with English, English learners, the selection of the correct mix allows him to speak and write in a more authentic, closer to the level of native English speakers. With knowledge of a large number of empirical studies have concluded that that is a difficult learning process of second language learners (Channel 1981; Ahmed Elkhatib, 1984; Aghbar, 1990; of Danuta Biskup, 1992, etc.). The rise of corpus linguistics, a large number of Corpus-based mix along with the emergence of (Pu Jianzhong, 2003: Man Qiufang, 2003; Yang Hui in 2003, is Xing Wei, 2002, etc.), showing a large number of scholars with the characteristics, mode, with the importance, as well as with mistakes occur because a more in-depth and comprehensive explore. Around with doing research from the perspective of the overall analysis and discussion Chinese English learners with the error, in this article, the author will be accounted gerund Chinese English learners committed with an error of 50% or more with (Gui Shichun, Yang Hui 2003:712) as the main research content, and further extracted knowledge and cause-specific lexical items for the search term, a detailed comparative analysis of collocation. The purpose of this study is to: 1) error endowed retrieval and collocation retrieval, analysis Learner typical gerund with mistakes; 2) statistics and description of the mode with the structure, analysis of students' errors in the match mode reasons; 3) to discuss the significance of the study of foreign language learning and teaching. In this paper, take the research corpus, the corpus were retrieved from CLEC (Chinese Learner English Corpus) and two English native Corpus BNC and COCA. CLEC all marked out with mistakes by use search tools MyFinder, retrieve, and use online search tools provided with the BNC and COCA retrieved knowledge and cause all collocation detailed comparative analysis. For a more accurate analysis of the cause of the error, the empirical study of Qingdao Institute of Ocean University of China a total of 168 English learners. The research results show that the English-members in the use of the verb to show a certain pattern associated with the vocabulary also showed relatively stable, a limited number of words set, most belonging to the mix of fixed or semi-fixed. College English learners in the use of verbs and nouns with they seem freely changeable the collocation richer, many of whom are a lot of intermediate language with abnormal with. These mistakes are largely negative migration of the native language and the result of neglect with restrictions. Its significance lies in teaching of English vocabulary and writing vocabulary learning and teaching, with awareness of students of the focus on the mix of common words and usage stressed the limitations of the specific context and with the use of these words, the use of online corpus search students autonomous learning ability, contribute to the more effective for students to learn and master the vocabulary and improve their writing skills.
