With economic globalization, international exchanges become more frequent and the successful staging of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, more and more cross-cultural communication between China and other countries to ask. China urgently needs both familiar and foreign cultures and accuracy in cross-cultural communication, foreign language decent exchange complex talent. Has become one of the talent in the 21st century must have the ability to cross-cultural communication ability. However, for a long time, my high school English class the importance of English language knowledge, language skills, while ignoring the the Wenwen teaching has become an indisputable fact. However, the practice has proved that the learning of the English language knowledge alone can not form a cross-cultural communicative competence. Even if the student has mastered enough vocabulary and grammar rules, misunderstandings in cross-cultural communication, or communication failure is inevitable. Therefore, the introduction of the target language culture teaching high school English class should become an important research topic. Currently, students of cross-cultural awareness and interpersonal skills has become the consensus of the English education sector. Fortunately, the State Ministry of Education in 2003 to develop a high school English curriculum standards, and subsequently developed a new curriculum standards \the target general description, and cultural awareness of goals made specially elaborated. However, the new curriculum has been implemented two cultural teaching in high school English class whether to get the attention it deserves? Cultural teaching how to carry out? Also what problems exist in the current situation? Reflect on the status of English culture teaching on the basis of English Culture Teaching propose ideas to guide further development of the teaching of high school English classroom culture in the future, this paper focused on the problem. This thesis based on the results of theoretical studies on culture and language at home and abroad, by the elaborate cultural teaching the history and objectives, the proposed high school English classroom teaching should always penetrate the culture teaching; cultural teaching and cultural awareness training is the key to the formation of language communicative competence. Secondly, in order to further explore the new curriculum background under the status quo of the culture teaching in high school English, and found the existing problems, the paper made an empirical study on the status of cultural teaching high school English classes. Through questionnaires and telephone interviews of a few schools in Heze, Shandong Province (provincial demonstration school) senior high school students and English teachers of all grades, with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the status of teaching high school English. The survey results found that cultural knowledge, cultural teaching and cultural learning has been well received by students and teachers alike the general concern of the teachers and students: the cultural teaching high school stage there is a serious problem. Overall, the main problem in the following three aspects: the lack of cross-cultural learning courses; lack of cultural knowledge literacy of teachers; lack of appropriate cultural teaching materials and information. Finally, this paper as the basis of foreign language teaching in high school English class culture teaching, on the basis of reflection on the current teaching situation clear that English teaching is culture teaching, from the perspectives of cultural teaching methods and ways to enhance students' cultural awareness and intercultural communicative competence.
