Abstract


Upper primary students , the research for the study as experimental material , the study spatial terms of space scene memory , as well as to explore the differences between grade and gender , a reference terminology and image of the spatial relationships while revealing the upper primary students memory space scene language encoding . This study population is divided into two experiments , each experimental studies include two parts: a learning and recognition . Whether the impact study of a major change in three different languages ??input conditions : rendering and image matching sentences containing spatial terms , rendering and image matching nouns ( no space terminology ) , showed only language picture , exploring space terminology presented picture identification , as well as upper primary students under different conditions space scene memory grade development and gender differences in characteristics . The second study is divided into two small experiments , the first experiment is the identification of the sentence by using the error prefix and key prefix contrast investigate the scene of upper primary students to use the space term memory space effect on language encoding ; first two experiments verify that the sentences are to be maintained and processed in the first experiment . Based on the findings , draw the following main conclusions: first space terminology exists impact scene memory space on upper elementary students , support the assumption that language affect thinking . Second , the growth of the space scene memory capacity with grade significantly enhanced the space term impact on the space scene memory for upper elementary students with grade growth decreases . Third, in the comparison of gender , the boys space scene memory capacity significantly higher than girls space the scene memory capacity , space term impact on the boys memory space scene less than the degree of influence of the the girls memory space scene . Fourth , in the study of language encoding , there is no grade and gender differences , and the results of the study show that the upper elementary students to identify pictures , using the interactive coding language and pictures , rather than independent encoding .
