Abstract


Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (P4) is an unknown number of environmental factors and multiple genes induced by a complex of common multifactorial diseases . The main purpose of this study was to investigate Chinese Northwest population MIF-173, IL-4R 1902, IL-6-174 gene polymorphism and susceptibility to rheumatoid arthritis correlation with RA early diagnosis, treatment and prevention provided scientific basis . Methods : A collection of northwest China 's 129 cases of rheumatoid arthritis patients and 249 cases of serum samples from healthy controls , using polymerase chain reaction - restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR ) detection MIF-173, IL-4R 1902, IL-6-174 gene polymorphism , the experimental data through the chi-square test , calculate the OR and 95 % confidence interval , the correlation analysis . Result: When genotype G / C and G / G when compared , MIF-173 genotype frequencies in rheumatoid arthritis patient group and the control group there was a significant difference between (x ~ 2 = 4.420, Pearson's P = 0.036 , OR = 1.695. 95% CI = 1.034 ~ 2.778), while genotype C / C and G / G comparison, the difference was not significant (x ~ 2 = 0.432, Pearson's P = 0.511, OR = 1.277,95% CI = 0.615 ~ 2.653 ) . IL-6-174 in rheumatoid arthritis patients and control groups also exist between the significant differences (P <0.05), IL-4R 1902 Northwest polymorphic loci and the pathogenesis of RA No significant correlation (P> 0.05 ) . Conclusion : We found that IL-6-174 gene polymorphism and MIF-173 C allele carrying northwest China crowd with the incidence of RA have a certain relationship , IL-4R 1902 gene polymorphism in the survey population with RA morbidity and no correlation .
