Abstract


Synonyms research is one of the important problems in Chinese vocabulary research. Synonyms research started in pre-Qin days, and lasted to Qing dynasty. After the state found, because of the new research method and new theoretical, the Synonyms research had many results. But compared with the other branches in Chinese vocabulary, Synonyms research still has many problems that is worth researching. As the headstream of Chinese language,Ancient Chinese Language is very important to the development of Chinese vocabulary. But the ancient Chinese synonyms research is weak in dribs and drabs. A book research is the foundation of other research, especially the division of history into period’s research. By accumulating the results of ancient Chinese synonyms research of a book, it can perfect the system of ancient Chinese synonyms.jinwen《shangshu》is the earliest extant historical document. It lasts from the end of the primitive society to the beginning period of the feudal society. The book reflects the language of Shang and Zhou Dynasty systematically and across-the-board. It has very important language material value to join the before and later together. But until now we have never seen the book or paper about the single syllable verb synonyms of jinwen《shangshu》. This text used the method of exhaustion to inspect the single syllable verb synonyms situation of jinwen《shangshu》,and discriminated the difference, searched the cause of formation , summarized the law. It tried to reflect the situation of the ancient Chinese single syllable verb synonyms.The thesis divides into three chapters.The first chapter is“jinwen《shangshu》single syllable verb synonyms phrase and analyze”. This chapter summarized the situation of jinwen《shangshu》single syllable verb synonyms, and made the classification by the quantity of the phrase. It also analyzed jinwen《shangshu》single syllable verb synonyms from semantics、grammar and pragmatics and gave examples to show the different feature。The second chapter is“cause of formation of jinwen《shangshu》single syllable verb synonyms”.This chapter summed up following types that had the same sememe in jinwen《shangshu》single syllable verb synonyms sememe : original meaning sememe are same to form synonyms; extended meaning sememe are same to form synonyms; dialect sememe are same to form synonyms or dialect sememe and the common language sememe are same。In the reason of word meaning extend,this text used the Cognitive Linguistics to analyze the orbit of ancient Chinese word meaning extended by metaphor and metonymy ,in order to get its mode and law。The third chapter is“the form of jinwen《shangshu》single syllable verb synonyms”. The chapter summarized three forms of jinwen《shangshu》single syllable verb synonyms:continuous、commutative and relative, and analyzed every form with examples. Especially it analyzed the effect of continuous pairs of synonyms to two-syllabic Chinese Words. That explained single syllable verb synonyms was continuous occasionally, it pushed the process of two-syllabic Chinese Words.
