Objective:To detect the expression of AQP4,TFPI2,CaM protein in different stages of human cervical lesions and based for clinical prognosis and subsequent gene therapy of cervical cancer. Method:Paraffin embedded specimens of the cervical lesions with different stages were examined with SP immunohistochemical methods, against AQP4,TFPI2,CaM. Results:AQP4 expression in chronic cervicitis,cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer were57.69%,42.85%,15.38%, respec-tively, which had significant difference(P<0.05).The expression of AQP4 in cervical cancer had no association with tissue differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis (P>0.05), but had significant association with the FIGO stage(P<0.05);Human tissue factor pathway inhibitor-2(TFPI-2) expression in cervicitis,cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer were 76.92%,46.51% and 37.93%, respectively, which had significant difference(P<0.05). The expression of TFPI2 in cervical cancer had association with FIGO stage,pathologic grade and lymph node metastasis(P< 0.05);CaM expression in cervicitis, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer were 68.00%,44.82%, 34.61%.respectively, which had significant difference(P<0.05). The expression of CaM in cervical cancer had no association with tissue differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis and FIGO stage (P>0.05)。Conclusions:Lower expression of AQP4, TFPI2, CaM in cervical cancer may play the important role in carcinogenesis and progression of cervical carcinoma. It might serve as a new tumor marker and the new target for tumor gene therapy.
