The research background studies have shown that atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory disease, inflammation and immune activation of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease pathogenesis key. OX40 ligand OX40L is an important signaling pathway activated T cells, recent studies confirm the the OX40L gene and is closely related to atherosclerosis. Our pre-clinical studies have also found in the plasma of patients with acute coronary syndrome and stable angina sOX40L level was significantly higher than the normal population, an important marker of inflammation and coronary heart disease ultra-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) was significantly associated the prompt new biochemical markers as a predictor of coronary heart sOX40L, and may be a certain sense of atherosclerotic plaque stability judgment. Statins have become the main drug for treatment of atherosclerosis, is closely related to its anti-atherosclerotic mechanisms to reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), but recent studies suggest that the anti-inflammatory effect of statins is also crucial. There are a large number of studies have confirmed that statins reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and its lower body inflammatory markers CRP levels related. OX40L as a new marker of inflammation in patients with coronary heart disease, whether it is also affected by the impact of statins has not been reported. Objective To investigate different doses of statins to treat inflammation of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) the indicators sOX40L and hs-CRP. Methods 47 cases of patients hospitalized for acute coronary syndrome were randomly divided into small dose statin group (atorvastatin 10mg / d) and high-dose statin group (atorvastatin 20 mg / d) and 4 weeks of treatment, determination before and after treatment plasma sOX40L and hs-CRP concentration. Enrollment, the low-dose group and the high-dose group, the baseline sOX40L and hs-CRP were: the 27.69 ± 10.52ng / L, the 28.24 ± 10.01ng / L; 11.69 ± 7.09mg / L, 11.91 ± 6.36mg / L; were normal population was significantly higher than previously reported. After four weeks of treatment, the low-dose group and high-dose group sOX40L decreased to 21.99 ± 8.12 ng / L (P <0.05) and 17.51 ??± 4.84 ng / L (P <0.05), decreased amplitude, respectively, to 20.6%, 38.0% ; high-dose statins decrease greater than the low-dose group (P <0.05). hs-CRP in both groups decreased significantly, to 32.3% (P <0.05) and 55.8% (P <0.05) Similarly, the high-dose group hs-CRP declined more than the low-dose group (P <0.05). Before and after treatment sOX40L hs-CRP were significantly positively correlated correlation coefficients were 0.765 (P = 0.00) and 0.742 (P = 0.00). Conclusion 1. Acute coronary syndrome patients sOX40L level significantly higher than normal. 2. Statin therapy significantly lower in patients with ACS sOX40L sOX40L reduce hs-CRP synchronization, a dose-dependent manner. 3.sOX40L hs-CRP, as judged one of the indicators of statin efficacy.
