Abstract


At present, teaching of oil painting in the Academy of Fine Arts encountered many difficulties, in which the most highlighted problem is how to break through "in-depth". After recalling the history of Chinese oil paintings of teaching and analyzing art institutions the status quo of oil painting teaching, we find that "in-depth" is an urgent need. Thus, the correct understanding of "in-depth" in painting is particularly important. Either "in-depth" of painting process and the screen effect, or "in-depth" of pursuing the main spirit of oil painting will provide thought and evidence for us to break through "in-depth" in teaching of oil painting. Then we need to focus on to clarify and resolve the following issues: First, it’s about ideology. The base of breaking through difficulties is to meditate and overcome various ideological obstacles; followed, the basic issue is how to lay a solid foundation, which could determine the length of art life of a student; the third one is correct view of oil painting sketching which is an important way to break through difficulties; finally, to improve comprehensive diathesis is a powerful protection of breaking through difficulties. In close connection with the lively and specific teaching practice and learning experience, we are striving to find the correct ways to break through "in-depth" and prove the importance of breaking through it.
