Abstract


Xianjian is a chinese book wrote in yuan dynasty which recorded the 899 immortal’s biographies from ancient to the early yuan dynasty. Shiji, Hanshu, Houhanshu are also books of biography.These books record the history from ancient to 225AD.These two kinds have same records with the same people thus it will take us different narrative principle and aesthic meaning.Compare with Xianjian;Shiji;Hanshu;Houhanshu, we can conclude that it has a truth in describe the same character:from less to more, from none to exist, from top to bottom. After that, Xianjian from two aspects of history meaning and narrative compare with Shiji, Hanshu, Houhanshu. Xianjian reference the narrative style of shiji,. These books have the same thinkings in equal; reborn and the conception of good and evil.Not only that, it has demonstate its history meaning, it clears the ralationship between Hugong and Feichanghuang, it study the history of Taoism. Although these four books have the same points in history meaning, the end of the article concludes five differences that narrative styles, narrative purpose, narrative emotion, narrative language to understand different meaning in different circumastance and our Taoism.
