Abstract


Anne baby is a unique literary phenomenon in contemporary literary history. Each work all boarded the best-seller list, the whole society set off a wave for“Anne baby”, forming the“spiritual climate”and hence making“Anne-genre”vogue. She is not just limited to metropolis lust. Focusing more about the meaning of life and spiritual world the group of fringe men pursued, she pays more attention to the research of the spiritual space outside the city and to the exploration of the value and significance of life in their walking and illusion. Due to the depiction of urban fringe men, she achieves a great success. It is an important reason for the fascinating of her work and for differing with other urban writing writer. But there is not any special and system research material for the analysis of her work’s characters at present, the author select it for the topic, to compensate for the blank in this paper basis on former. Be a complement to previous studies on its study provides an important research perspective.This thesis aims to discuss the significance of Anne’s works through the analysis of urban fringe men. It is divided into four parts, the first part mainly dissertates“Anne baby phenomenon”to highlight the urban margin writers identity; the second part probes into the existence state of urban fringe men; Firstly, it defines and describes the metropolitan fringe men; secondly it analyzes the types and mode of existence of urban fringe character , finally discusses the spirit present that urban fringe people have in common; the third part analyzes mental evolution of urban edge from four aspects through the understanding transition of Anne baby’s works; the fourth part is congenial to the first paragraph, seeking for the meanings and shortages of her creation.
