Abstract


Any human behavior is motivated , motivation can inspire , point to maintain , regulate the activities of human behavior to achieve behavioral goals . The motivation has a long history , and school buildings, the most famous should be American psychologist Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory , American psychologist Albert Bandura 's self - efficacy theory and American psychologist Weiner , attribution theory , these theories are widely used in education and teaching , and spawned many practical education in the psychological effects and successful teaching strategies . English is an important language , and a wide range of uses , almost become the common language of the world . Although the high school students in the college entrance examination and social services , they focus on high school students are standing on the same starting line , the society and the state of their requirements . English teachers should use the scientific method , the use of appropriate strategies to stimulate students ' motivation for learning English , students play the initiative to help students overcome difficulties in learning English , the students have English learning ability , with a healthy body and mind qualified high school graduates , the completion of high school English teachers undertake the task of teaching . Action Research gathers researchers and practitioners in a scientific way, more and more attention in the education sector . Action research aimed at the problems found in the actual work , through the scientific method to analyze the problem , according to scientific theories , the formulation and implementation of a plan to solve the problem . To solve students the passive learning English attitude , to improve students 'English scores and English learning students in English learning ability , I used the action research method to stimulate students ' motivation for learning and help students develop English learning ability . In the course of the study , I have adopted a method of statistical analysis method , charts , case , diaries , and the collection and analysis of the records of students overall and individual learning , application strategies to stimulate student motivation effects , adjust the teaching methods , improve academic performance of students in English . The research results show that the method to enhance students ' ability to learn by using strategies to stimulate students' English learning motivation is effective , especially for high school students of English learning difficulties .
