Abstract


Culture and language are inextricably interlinked , language acquisition is not an isolated learning process , it is always closely related to the specific locale . The goal of language acquisition is one of communication , an understanding of the language and culture conducive to language acquisition and learning ; help to improve the ability to cross-cultural communication ; help to improve the accuracy of the use of language and communicative efficiency . Anhui college entrance clearly defined cultural communicative competence of students . The paper to middle school students in Yuexi County , Anhui Province as the research object , through questionnaires , interviews, testing and other means to understand their level of cultural communication and the existing problems , cognitive linguistics , language stage of cognitive development of children with learning and Halliday theory and cultural analysis model , analyzes the existing problems in the students ' intercultural communication and its deep-seated reasons , variance analysis and comparison of Chinese and Western cultures , to understand the cultural differences mode . Teachers of the region due to the impact of structuralist theory - based teaching methods , too much emphasis on the the language internal structure of cognitive focus on students ' language pure cognitive ability \imparting to the neglect of imparting knowledge of students ' cultural backgrounds . Therefore the students in the face of cultural issues , often a \I believe that cross-cultural communication depends on both the knowledge to understand cultural communication orientation , values ??, worldview , lifestyle analysis and judgment , and a solid foundation of knowledge does not ensure the successful completion of the communication , but also depends on both language and non - language the symbol of the ability of the codec .
