Abstract


The pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is an important industry in the national health, social stability and economic development in the national economy. With the accelerated process of China's opening to the outside world, the competition in the domestic pharmaceutical market is also growing. In the context of increasingly rapid development of pharmaceutical manufacturing, and the increasingly important position in the increasingly fierce market competition, improve the competitiveness of China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is undoubtedly practical significance and urgent need. Overall, the Pharmaceutical Industry in China as the emerging markets of the pharmaceutical industry, relative to the slowdown in the pharmaceutical industry in Europe and the United States and other mature markets of the past two years, and its development is quite satisfactory. Production and sales in recent years to maintain a rapid growth, the pharmaceutical exports continue to maintain high-speed growth, the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry accounted for the proportion of the country's GDP is also rising. China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry flourishing in the situation, landing large foreign pharmaceutical companies, relatively cheap labor, or the government's policy support, are all factors that promote the rapid development of China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. China is a vast, uneven economic development among regions of the same factor endowments, the variety of reasons a far cry from the comprehensive competitiveness of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, and promote the development of pharmaceutical manufacturing factors vary. In this paper, learning previous research for industry competitiveness index system, according to the characteristics of the the pharmaceutical manufacturing high-tech industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing competitiveness index evaluation system, evaluation will be applied to the region pharmaceutical manufacturing competitiveness. Evaluation system for pharmaceutical manufacturing competitiveness decomposition of production and competitiveness, market competitiveness, technological competitiveness and capital competitive four-level indicators, and then decompose the four-level indicators, a total of 20 secondary indicators. For 2000, 2003 and 2004 indicators of global principal component analysis using SPSS software and use SPSS software to provide the factor scores obtained by three years of pharmaceutical manufacturing competitiveness as well as the the level indicators competitive score and ranking. Change under three years pharmaceutical manufacturing competitiveness sorting and sorting the various regions of China pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is divided into integrated and competitive, in the weak three grades. Typical areas of Jiangsu, Tianjin and Jiangxi were selected in the three grades, respectively, according to the results of the empirical analysis to study the main factors for its role in promoting the development of pharmaceutical manufacturing, summed up the region to promote a different factor endowments decisive factor in the development of its pharmaceutical manufacturing competitiveness provide a reference to how to quickly enhance the competitiveness of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
