Abstract


This paper shows that Guo Moruo’s poetics is the romantic poetics and Fei Ming’s poetry is a modern type blending emotional and intellectual. Their poetic theory and poetry practice revealed a mixture of landscape and formed a complementary system of poetics. Comprehensive survey of their poetic ideals,we can get a clear comb and a reasonable explanation of the Chinese modern new poetry in their development. So far, therer are not the research on comparing their poetic ideals in the academic study.We build a comparing poetic platform to discuss this topic in four parts. First: Comparative Poetics. In this part, we respectively analyzed Fei Ming and Guo Moruo’s poetic theory and poetry practice in terms of the ontology of poetry, the creation of poetry, the function of poetry, the valuation of poetry and the communication of poetry. We try to reveal that they were in verse exploring the development path differently; The second part: Background Resources Research. From the background resources which are social background, life experience and personality traits, we back to the historical site and the scene of the their times and analyse the contradictions between the two poetry modes, explore in depth the reasons for the two paths; The third part:Reflections On The Development Of Modern New Poetry. In this part, we make an overall evaluation of their poetic perspective and sum up their success and error. We describe the choices of two roads that how they integrate eastern and western resources and make a brief analysis on other issues involved, such as feeling and intellectual, into and out of mood, romanticism and modernism, poetry and non-poetry, etc. In this way, we attempt to provide a new dimension of idealization of new poetry.; At last, the conclusion-Open Up The Ideal Way. Summarize our inspiration of Guo Moruo and Fei Ming’s different paths, we shoud emphasis two points from their exploring in the new poetry, one is the attitude to approch the earth, the other one is the brave and enterprise of the pioneering.I took the comparative research method, in order to more adequately recover the problems in Chinese modern new poetry ongoing.
