Abstract


With the rapid development of network technology, as one of social phenomenon, network cluster behavior of college students has become a hot topic in academic research. More and more network cluster events of students interferes the network order, and lead to adverse social impacts, even causes impacts on social harmony and stability to some extent. Great challenge has been brought for traditional ideological and political education.At present, the research on network cluster behavior is still in its initial stage, there is no academic definition in authority for network cluster behavior. A significant portion of researchers tend to consider network cluster behavior of college students as some social events, which are highly dangerous. Because of inadequate understanding about its positive influence, the actual effect of students’management and ideological and political education in University has been influenced to a certain degree. Correctly and Objective study on the performance, features, tendency, influence of network cluster behavior in college students and analysis on its causes, to take reasonable and effective way to guide students according to the network cluster behavior in a positive direction. It is therefore tremendously significant for college students to improve college ideological and political education, help students formulated a better outlook on life, world outlook and right values.The cluster behavior of college students is a new born thing and defines its implication is primary. Firstly, this paper defines the concept of network cluster behavior of college students from a neutral standpoint and considers it essentially as a mutual free exchange and communication product between people. There are both rational and irrational sides. According to questionnaire and analysis on the performance of series of students’network cluster behavior events in recently years, summarizes characteristics and tendencies of network cluster behavior of college students and give a demonstration of the effect on social development and development of college students themselves from rational and irrational aspects. Everything has its background and conditions and reason, students’ network cluster behavior is a joint action, created by network, social, ethical, legal factors etc. and also a result of action by group psychology in network world. The paper analyses in depth on college students’ network cluster behavior, especially the aspects of rational and irrational sides, based on group psychology theory which proposed by French social psychologists, Gustave Le Bon. At last, thoughts and countermeasures for guiding network cluster behavior have been put forward.
