Abstract


Industry Transition of the Coal resource-based cities is a complicated and systematic project, a lot of researchers at home and abroad has paid much attention to these problems, but has not yet formed a systematic scientific theory about industry transition. At the present, the coal resource-based cities are facing the difficulties such as the exhausted resources, polluted environment, declined economy and the danger of social unrest and many other issues which make the Coal resource-based cities have a pressing demand for theory about industry transition. Therefore, to study this issue has theoretical and realistic significance. In this article Coal resource-based cities separated from resource-based cities which can supply a comprehensive and scientific result. And the Coal resource-based cities occupy the largest proportion in resource-based cities which brought the most severe challenge. It is very important to research the industrial transition and find the superseded industry, in order to achieve sustainable development of urban economy, society and environment.Firstly, this article makes systematical analysis to the industrial structure of the Coal resource-based cities which leads to some useful results in component systems, the law of development and problems of industrial. On this basis, analysis and design the operating mechanism, transition mode, dynamics mechanism and strategic research on industry transition of the Coal resource-based cities. And then, use typical cases of domestic and foreign, summed up experiences and lessons from them. At last, select the Ordos city to do the empirical research, and combining the previous theory with Ordos’s reality to seek a road for Ordos’s industry transition and give some suggestion about local government strategy.
