Abstract


In January 2008, the state approved the implementation of " Beibu GulfEconomic Zone Development Plan ", the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in Guangxiformally incorporated into national development strategies. As an very importantinformation resources, Archives has an irreplaceable role in the construction ofBeibu Gulf Economic Zone. In the background of rapid regional economicdevelopment,I tried to study the value and theory of archives ,the usage andresource theoretical constructions from a new perspective. I tried to use theregional economic development as the platform, to integrate all of these theoriesinto an new system, so as to form a new theory system—the Contribution of thearchives. The research of the concept of contribution of the archives in regionaleconomic development ,and its elements, contribution, measure system, increasingmethod,etc are comply with the demand of "regional prosperous, nationalprosperous " regional economic development. It also comply with the need ofimproving archive theory. The contribution of archives in regional economicdevelopment was consisted by four elements: information resources, basicresources, human resources and legal resources.The basic four characters of thecontribution of archives are: the usage of archives is integrated, the service’sregional, the demands are diversified, content is professional. In regional economicdevelopment, the archives played an important role in the political, economic,cultural, education, tourism areas. For various reasons, contribution of the archivecannot give full play to our society, it need to be optimized. The integration andoptimization of the four elements force that is the fundamental way to enhance thecontribution of the archive.
