Sichuan golden monkey (Rhinopithcus roxellana) is rare and endangered species in China. They mainly distribute in Sichuan, Gansu, Shanxi and Hubei Province. Shennongjia Mountains in Hubei province and some forest of Housing County Xingshan and Badong County are main distributed area, This study focus on the environment from the Sichuan golden monkey habitat in different seasons, combined with field surveys and data collection, as well as the analysis by using 3S technology to track Shennongjia Sichuan golden monkey. All of which were used to research their habitat selection and dynamics, and it is more important for protection and scientific management of. migration of Sichuan golden monkey. The main results are as follows:1. From the forest layer, it has shown that most eastern of Shennongjia area are more strong selection area, which meet the survival requirements of Sichuan snub-nosed monkey habitat. And the northwest, southwest and southern regions with selection weak were larger, and the central level of strong selection, but the spot block fragmented with more interference, but it still has some potential in this area.2. In order to observe and record their dynamic migratory routes and major activity areas, direct observation, mark judge and individual group were used to track the region Sichuan golden monkey in Shennongjia Qianjiaping. The results show that:In the DaQianJiaping and XiaoQianjiaping, Sichuan golden monkey activities are concentrated in the west of the first, Second, third, fourth gully in Qianjiaping on the east western slope of XiaoQianjiaping, Piaoshang, the bottom of Chicken apical mountain, grinding field, the second and third gully of eastern XiaoQianJiaping, the north wind Ping, and the main channel of north wind Ping, the first.gully, Chen wall bend, Jin pen bottom, tunnel son, DaqianJiaping, weed slopes, etc…After long-term tracking of the golden monkey, it is observed that food and human disturbance are the main factors affecting their migration. In the absence of the interference, its movement can present some directions, but often appear repeatedly. It is probably mainly due to changes in food abundance. In the case of human disturbance may cause to suddenly speed up or speed off and the movement towards the opposite direction of movement. From the annual cycle of view, thousands of golden monkey groups have Qianjiaping region wandering clockwise trend. Direction is approximately Northerly Ping→Daqian Jiaping typical agricultural village→Xiao qianjia ping→Xiao qianjiaping typical agricultural village→Dajinpen→BigMill field→→Weeds slope→Piaoshang→Sitianbamen→Daqian Jiaping. Above all showed a general direction, and the monkey’s movement often repeated, even crosse the apex of Chicken apical mountain to reach Badong, Overall, there is no clear direction of movement golden monkey, the performance of randomness.3. Protection measures and recommendations:from the analysis of Shennongjia, it is shown that the movement of monkeys is random. Therefore, protected areas should be strengthened continuity between the central scattered patches, it is necessary to take conservation, establishment of buffer zones and artificial road confinement. The eastern region of Sichuan snub-nosed monkey activities have become the main distribution area, a large continuous area of suitable habitat should be protected in future. Therefore, vegetation and plants should be maintained and protected. for Sichuan golden monkey population, and the tracking surveys should be strengthen.
