Abstract : practical work , the installer generation to be automated , but so far , not yet a fully automatic generation of the system installer . The paper realized an MSI installer development and automatic generation system , allowing users to easily upgrade installer project , new installer project by filling out the web form and automatically generate the installer . The system consists of database , version control systems , web pages , and script files . Database system with version control - system to manage all items in the installer , if the common custom operating dynamic link library update , use the dynamic link library project will synchronize to receive updates in the dynamic link library . The system can add and delete files in the installer project , according to the layout file name , location , attributes the increase or delete the corresponding file in the product installation program project , build the installer , and send a report . The papers complete automatic installer generation system to support the development and generation of the Windows MSI installer , the next step will be extended to the development and generation of other installer .
