Abstract


Singapore as the most developed country in southeast Asia, in promoting the regional economic cooperation in southeast Asia plays an incomparable role in other countries. This article attempts to Singapore in southeast Asia region to carry out economic activities as the foundation, summarizes Singapore in southeast Asia regional economic cooperation of the position and role. Specifically, this paper argues that with the speeding up of industrialization process of southeast Asia area, Singapore in southeast Asia regional economic partner of the "leader" role has become increasingly apparent. The article in general can be divided into three parts: the first part is introduction, describes the topics significance, research methods and research status at home and abroad. The second part of the body of the three chapters, the first chapter introduces the theory of regional economic cooperation, including the definition of the south-east Asia region, the level of the regional economic cooperation and the theory, introduced the economic situation of southeast Asian nations; The second chapter separately from the trade, investment, finance, tourism and other aspects to the system is introduced in Singapore and southeast Asia regional economic cooperation; The third chapter further discusses the obstacle factors of Singapore and southeast Asian regional economic cooperation. Finally, summed up in Singapore and southeast Asia regional economic cooperation of the role, and further thinking about the content of this paper and paper's shortcomings.
