Objective: To observe alcoholic liver disease (alcoholic liver disease, ALD) in patients with peripheral blood lymphocyte micronucleus rate changes of plasma MDA content and SOD activity , to explore ALD patients peripheral blood lymphocytes relationship between chromosome damage and oxidative stress . Methods: cytokinesis block micronucleus experiment (cytokinesis-block micronucleus test, CB-MNT), thiobarbituric acid (thiobarbituric acid, TBA) colorimetric method and xanthine oxidase were detected 31 cases of ALD patients and 22 healthy subjects chromosomal damage , plasma malondialdehyde (malondialdehyd, MDA) content and plasma superoxide dismutase ( superoxide dismutase , SOD) activity of peripheral blood lymphocytes . Results: MDA level of the case group and the control group were 5.88 ± 2.62μmol / L and the 2.89 ± 1.33μmol / L , SOD activity , respectively, to 49.28 ± 6.03 kU / L and 57.35 ± 4.96 kU / L, and plasma MDA content of SOD reduction and increased activity by statistical analysis between the two groups of indicators , a significant difference (P <0.01), and between the case group MDA content and SOD activity was negatively correlated ( P <0.05 , r = -0.454 ). In addition , the the case group micronucleus rate was higher , the two groups there is a significant difference ( P <0.01 ) . MDA content and micronucleus rate of the patient group there is a positive correlation (P <0.01, r = 0.493), while the activity of SOD and micronucleus rate exists negative correlation (P <0.05, r = -0.422). Conclusion : ALD patients oxidative stress plays an important role in chromosomal damage in peripheral blood lymphocytes prompted the ALD patients vivo oxidative stress is one of the mechanisms of chromosome damage in peripheral lymphocytes . Cytokinesis block method micronucleus test can be used as one of the ALD patients with chromosome damage detection .
