Abstract


China's insurance industry after years of rapid development, its position in the international insurance industry has been significantly improved, increasing the scale of the use of insurance funds. Insurance level of investment is a concrete manifestation of the overall strength of the insurance company, therefore, the use of insurance funds in China also put forward higher requirements. Learn from the advanced experience of foreign insurance companies, securities investment as insurance an important channel of great significance to improve the income of insurance funds, and enhance the solvency of the insurance funds. In the beginning by the United States subprime mortgage crisis, as institutional investors and stakeholders of the insurance industry suffered heavy losses, and exposed to the problems of the insurance investment securities. This paper focuses on the case of failure of foreign insurance companies to invest in the subprime mortgage crisis, summed up the problems in their investment process and investment in securities revelation of China's insurance. First, the coverage rate of return on foreign insurance companies and insurance investment yield analysis, and quantitative and qualitative analysis of the relationship between domestic insurance investment yield securities market, in order to prove the investment of insurance funds securities insurance companies sound operation of the positive role, is the most important insurance investment channels. Therefore, can not be denied because of the subprime crisis on the insurance industry to combat the positive aspects of the insurance investment securities. Second, by analyzing the impact of the subprime crisis on the insurance investment sort out the subprime mortgage crisis affecting the insurance industry through the securities market pathway.
