Abstract


President Richard Nixon (1969-1974) of the Chinese concept of connotation is quite rich, formed a relatively complete system. However, as the 1960s and 1970s, the international situation and the tremendous changes in American domestic situation, Nixon had to depart from realism to begin the history of Sino-US relations and the Sino-Soviet history of deep reflection, humbly listen to domestic and foreign strategic home especially Charles de Gaulle, Adenauer, who's advice, and the national interests of the United States re-evaluation, and thus China has gradually formed an extremely far-sighted view that China in a very long period of time can become a friend of America. It is based on China is not the enemy of the Friends accurate judgment, Nixon dared to take the initiative to China, has taken a key step in changing attitudes toward China. Therefore, the Chinese concept of friend and foe President Nixon's view of China is the logical starting point.
