Abstract


In 2008, our country has welcomed the reform and open policy for 30 years, and we have witnessed the outstanding achievements of China’s political, economic, cultural and other areas to these years, the more encouraging matter is that at the successful conclusion of the Beijing Olympics just recently, China has made the top rank in numbers of Olympic gold medal, which means that China’s competitive sports has step into a higher level and has also set new requirements to the theoretical study of China’s sports training. Therefore, to study the degree paper of post-graduate of various sports colleges and universities in a general training major or to make a correct evaluation of these papers and to conclude achievements and shortcomings of these paper in the sport field of scientific research will play a vital role in enhancing the development of our sports training school curriculum and our sports standards. This paper has made special study to research content and research method of paper of post-graduate in a general training major, analyzing the characteristics of these scientific research paper in different historical periods carefully, taping out the interdisciplinary theoretical relevance of these degree paper and the general training subject, and predicting the direction of future studies of the subject to anticipate to provide some inspiration and experience for deepening the reform of graduate education and raising the general level of competence training for graduate students who undertaking research.By applying literature, logic, analysis and survey research methods, this paper analyze the status and characteristics of the paper of post-graduate majoring at general training subject in different periods from our nations reform and open, the following major conclusions:1. In terms of the nature of post-graduate’s degree thesis research, It is disproportion in basic research, applied research and developmental research. The trend of applied research is upward, but developmental research less. 2. In the field of post-graduate’s degree thesis research, the trend of studies is gradually increasing, but it is irregular in school sports, and mass sports research. In the second phase, we have more research in the mass sports area.3. In the subjects of post-graduate’s degree thesis research, it is disproportion that research about domestic and foreign athletes and the venues showed an upward trend, but coaches, the elderly, women and other special groups are seldom concerned.4. In the research of post-graduate’s degree thesis, research methods has gradually changed from the first phase (1981-1990) theory experience summarize, technical summarize, logical analysis to the combination of qualitative and quantitative. The choice of research methods showed significant time features and its means’s modern, mathematics-based, and computerized features.5. The content of post-graduate’s degree thesis research are various in different periods about group theory, physical fitness, sports skills and tactics, sports psychology, intelligence, athletic competition and management, selection and injury research. Not only the research proportion has differences, but also demonstrated a trend of gradually refinement. It has gradually broadened from the macro to the micro-feature.
