Expression and Significance of the Pro-apoptotic Omi/HtrA2 Mitochondrial Protein in Gastric Cancer

Abstract


Objective: This paper aims to detect mitochondrial proapoptotic molecules ( mitochondrial serine protease ) Omi/HtrA2 in cysteine ??protease protein-3 caspase-3 , two proteins in gastric carcinoma and adjacent tissues to explore the relationship between both the biological function and its relationship with clinical stage and pathological type of gastric cancer and its clinical significance . Methods: Immunohistochemical the En Vinsion system method detected 72 cases of gastric carcinoma and 32 cases of gastric cancer adjacent tissues Omi/HtrA2 expression while testing these organizations Caspase-3 protein expression . The results : 1. Omi/HtrA2 expression in gastric paracancerous organizations significantly lower (P lt; 0.05); 2. Semi- cysteine ??protease protein expression in gastric cancer tissues -3 Caspase-3 next to in gastric cancer tissues expression was significantly higher than the expression in gastric cancer tissues ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; Omi/HtrA2 in expression and clinicopathological staging of gastric cancer have significant correlation (P lt ; 0.05) ; Caspase -3 expression in gastric cancer the histological grade (P lt; 0.05) and clinical stage . Conclusions : 1. Omi/HtrA2 higher in gastric expression Hint: Omi/HtrA2 promote apoptosis , and the entire development of gastric cancer , the evolution of the relationship . The the Omi/HtrA2 protein expression in gastric carcinoma and gastric carcinoma grade , the higher the degree of cell differentiation , the higher the positive expression rate , and clinical pathological stage , lymph node metastasis has a significant relationship . 2 in gastric cancer tissues showed low expression of caspase-3 , suggesting that gastric tissue caspase-3 involved in the normal process of apoptosis , is closely related to the lack of its expression and gastric carcinogenesis . Caspase - 3 protein expression in gastric cancer histological grade , the higher the degree of cell differentiation , the higher expression rate , with no obvious clinical pathological stage , lymph node metastasis without much relationship gastric carcinoma . Relationship Omi/HtrA2 in expression and Caspase - 3 in gastric cancer and adjacent tissues : Omi/HtrA2 and Caspase - 3 in gastric noncancerous tissue and gastric cancer expressing the opposite trend , but by the correlation analysis , the two do not have significant correlation ( r = -0.437 , P gt ; 0.05 ), the same expression between gastric cancer Ⅰ , Ⅱ and Ⅲ, stage IV both also no obvious correlation .
