Analyze Study on Efficacy of Biofeedback and Electrical Stimulation Therapy for Female Overactive Bladder

Abstract


Objective: To analyze biofeedback and electrical stimulation of the short-term effect of the treatment of women with overactive bladder ( overactivebladder OAB ) . Methods: 83 female overactive bladder patients involved in the four groups of treatment programs : A group of biofeedback treatment by the pelvic floor muscle training group ( BAPFMT ) ; the B group supplemented by electrical stimulation of the pelvic floor muscle training group ( ESAPFMT ) ; C group pelvic floor muscle training group ; group D drug tolterodine . By voiding diary and AUA voiding symptom score to evaluate the therapeutic effect of the four groups of patients . Results: According to the symptoms of the patient after treatment to evaluate the clinical efficacy , the results showed that the cure rate and efficiency of A , B , C , D group were : group A 30.4 % , 69.6 % ; B group 37.5 % , 70.8 % ; C group 16.7 % , 38.9% ; D group, 27.8% , 61.1% . Where A and B groups effective rate higher than C group ( P < 0.05 ) , no difference in efficacy between the groups A , B and D ( P > 0.05 ) . AUA score evaluation of symptom improvement in patients before and after treatment , the results showed that the four groups of patients could improve urinary symptoms ( P < 0.05 ) . Improvement of group A and group B than in group C ( P < 0.05 ) , no significant difference ( P > 0.05 ) between A , B and D group efficacy . Conclusion : Biofeedback supplemented with pelvic floor muscle training , supplemented by electrical stimulation of the pelvic floor muscle training , pelvic floor muscle training and tolterodine overactive bladder for women in varying degrees of efficacy, in which the behavior of combination therapy is superior to separate behavioral therapy.
