Abstract


There is no doubt that every time has its questions which are the voice of it.The prominent question which our society is facing is that morality and justice are depressed and it is a severe challenge to the socialist morality construction.It is disturbing to think about our moral crisis at present.The reasons which cause the result are complex,for example native and external,history and reality,social being and social consciousness.Of all the aspects,the influence from popular culture is noticeable.Popular culture which is now emerging as a new force has huge influence on popular culture.Therefore,the paper will discuss the effect of popular culture on socialist morality construction from the angle of culture and ethics and take popular culture as a good starting point.In the nearly 30years,popular culture has experienced the process from absence to emergence,from underground to public,from a little spark to a great fire in china. In the 21st,its development conditions are unprecedented prosperity and the industry tendency become more and more strong.Popular culture itself is a complex of both good and evil things which bring opportunities and challenges to morality construction.The appearance of popular culture has greatly enriched our life and provided diverse culture form and rich contents for morality construction.People can not only enhance their cultural literacy,but also experience moral inspiration in the process of entertainment.This is an important way to promote the secularization of morality.As a result of its characteristics such as commodity and utility,popular culture can both induce and exaggerate desire.It also deceit and even control our thoughts in the moral domain.Then,it has caused the absence of the humanism and done against the positive developments of elite culture and dominant culture.Concerning these effects,we should neither excessively optimistic nor sigh with sadness.The right manner is to face reality and exert our initiative to enhance strong points and avoid weaknesses.It requires us to pay attention to morality construction from the cultural angle and construct diligently the cultural mechanism for morality construction.Firstly,dig deeply and use effectively the mass moral values from popular culture.Secondly,elite culture and dominant culture should speed up their steeps to study from popular culture so that enhance their infection and affinity. Thirdly,strengthen the humanism concerns about the write’s of popular culture,so that raise and promote their moral sense of responsibility and the culture sense of mission.Fourthly,use all kind of methods such as economy,law and administration to strengthen the macro-guidance to popular culture to create a healthy culture atmosphere.
