Abstract
Personal rate of return to education as an important indicator of the development and measure of education, employment and other policies , has been much attention . The personal education yield of less concern to this group of students in vocational colleges , this article vocational students studying in Changsha City , for example , calculation and analysis of their personal education yields , further enrollment in vocational colleges students vocational students employment , shortage of skilled workers , \In this paper, the cost - income approach calculated Changsha the General Vocational graduates and highly skilled vocational graduates personal rate of return to education , 19.5% and 31.6% , respectively . Both are located in a relatively high level compared with the domestic and international research . Therefore , individuals choose to invest in higher vocational education is a rational act . The contrast between highly skilled vocational graduates , senior technicians , this group of individual education yield superior general higher vocational graduates . The senior technicians phase generally higher vocational graduates in the labor market demand ; while generally higher vocational graduates relative to senior technicians seem oversupply in the market . In order to explain the difficult employment of general vocational college students and the shortage of skilled workers , \However, the factors that affect the employment of vocational students are very complex , and therefore need personal rate of return to education and other indicators of vocational students combined to resolve the problem . And belongs to through the questionnaire on the factors that affect the employment of vocational students , society, schools and individuals are the three factors that affect vocational enrollment and employment using factor analysis . Then targeted recommendations and countermeasures for the problems faced by the vocational education .
