Abstract


Reference service as a core business of the university library in the current network environment has much room for development and prospects for development , it is necessary to tap its value , so to play a greater role . Summary of existing research results based on the reference consulting business reflected in the value of library work viewing angle, the play of its efficacy is discussed in detail from six aspects , including university research , academic achievements , management and evaluation basis , bear the heavy responsibility of the information Literacy Education Advisory answer , to provide users with specialized services provide users with network information navigation literature information service , subject librarian . The paper further pointed out that the reference work development in recent years, the highlights and direction , one of which is to focus on the \reference to the characteristics of the construction of the source of information ; Fourth collaborative management model . Theoretically explore its rich connotation of the course of development , and consulting . On this basis , combined with practical work experience , the use of qualitative and quantitative studies combined , the combination of theoretical and applied research , to investigate the actual situation , and then analyzes the status quo , summarized the flaws and shortcomings of the University Library reference work from management philosophy and specific level of library and Information service should pay attention to the problem as well as the future development of countermeasures .
