Abstract

As the world economy and rapid development, energy consumption is also growing exponentially every year. Due to the current most of the energy and chemical raw materials are derived from fossil resources, and for non-polluting, renewable energy development and application also failed to achieve large-scale industrialization, which led to the atmospheric pollutants such as sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide rapid increase in the concentration, there has been decreased global warming and other environmental problems of air quality. And because fossil resources are non-renewable energy, mining and constantly makes use of the world's energy will soon be facing depletion. Therefore, the development of renewable, recyclable new energy and chemical raw materials imminent. In the current study among the many new energy, biomass energy is the only directly into liquid fuels, renewable energy and chemicals chemical raw materials. As copper smelting process of copper slag waste, recycling is very difficult. At present, because the use of copper slag refining of copper, iron and other valuable components of technology is not mature, copper slag is mainly used for building fillers or discarded, resulting in a great waste of resources. In this paper, copper slag complex composition, rich in metal carbonates and some rare features. Innovative proposed a copper slag as a catalyst for biomass gasification experimental study. In this paper, pyrolysis and gasification of biomass technology research were reviewed, while domestic biomass pyrolysis and gasification of the technical characteristics, organizational development and other basic conditions for a systematic and comprehensive exposition. More systematic analysis of the pine sawdust pyrolysis characteristics. Experiments using laboratory-made fixed bed biomass gasification reactor, the choice of pine sawdust biomass raw materials, copper slag as a catalyst, the use of mechanical mixing method the raw material mixed with the catalyst, quantitative analysis and research of pine sawdust adding copper slag catalyst before and after the gasification gas production rate, gas composition and calorific value gas production changes. Experimental results show that the catalyst with copper slag pine sawdust gasification process air, compared with and without use of a catalyst, addition of copper catalyst residue gasification reaction rate was increased gas production, gasification gas component content and without adding a significant difference compared to catalysts, the heat value of gasification gas has significantly improved. The results for the development of new practical biomass gasification catalyst has a certain significance.
