Abstract

Lignin present in the cell walls of plant fibers , is a three-dimensional network structure of the polymer . Most of the paper production process required to remove lignin, lignin degradation i.e. delignification process is an important step of the paper making process . The study showed that the plant fiber raw materials , lignin and carbohydrates in the presence of covalently attached structure called lignin - carbohydrate complexes ( lignin - carbohydrate complexes LCC ) . Lignin - carbohydrate bond hinder the pulping and bleaching process of the dissolution of the lignin , reducing the ability of pulp bleaching . Therefore, the search for environmentally friendly delignification technology , selective oxidation of lignin , does not damage the fibers , is a challenge of the current worldwide papermaking industry . Catalytic enhanced oxygen / hydrogen peroxide bleaching delignification technology has attracted attention , including the application of metal complexes , with oxygen as the oxidant Co-salen is the most promising lignin degradation imitation enzyme catalyst . Co-salen catalytically active component , the separation brandisii LCC and chemical synthesis of the LCC model objects lambsquarters Lo yl glycerol -β- guaiacyl - a , γ - methyl ether as a reaction substrate , IR, NMR and gas chromatography - mass spectrometry analysis technology , Research Co-salen the LCC the catalytic O2/H2O2 oxidation of structural changes in product formation ; from the point of view of the local chemical analysis , scanning electron microscopy -X -ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (SEM-EDXA) each micro- region of the Co-salen the catalytic O2/H2O2 oxidation sweet bamboo fiber ( cell angle , lamella , cell wall ), the delignification law . Co-salen shown the ability to better catalytic degradation of LCC , the benzene rings in the ring-opening reaction . LCC molecular structure of cellulose and hemicellulose , such as glucuronic acid, xyloglucan seriously degraded . β-O-4 connection is cleaved to generate a 2 - methoxyphenol , CA - Catalytic Subunit Cβ in fracture produce aldehydes . Aromatic ring- methoxy demethylation, the methoxy group of the side chain a-, γ- bit more stable . Biphenyls detection of the product you may have a free radical coupling reaction .
