Abstract


Objective To investigate the adenoid size and children with secretory otitis media , sinusitis and snoring and adenoid curettage clinical effects in the treatment of such diseases . The hospital line adenoidectomy 113 cases of secretory otitis media , sinusitis and snoring in children with clinical manifestations , laboratory examinations , and prognosis were analyzed retrospectively . Evaluation 1 degree of adenoid hypertrophy eustachian tube function ; 2 . Adenoidal hypertrophy degree of hearing ; cause otitis media with effusion , chronic sinusitis and snoring in children adenoid hypertrophy whether the differences ; 4 . among otitis media with effusion , chronic sinusitis and snoring in children , caused by a single disease that causes two or three diseases in adenoid hypertrophy extent the presence or absence of differences ; 5 . adenoid body curettage in the treatment of otitis media with effusion , chronic sinusitis and snoring in children . Results moderate adenoid hypertrophy and pathological hypertrophy group , acoustic impedance type distribution difference was statistically significant ( P lt ; 0.01 ) ; adenoids pathological hypertrophy group with mild to moderate the conduction disturbances constitutes a higher than moderate hypertrophy group ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; cause otitis media with effusion , chronic sinusitis and snoring in children adenoid hypertrophy was no significant difference ( P GT ; 0.05 higher than the risk of moderate hypertrophy group ( P lt ; 0.01 ) ) ; 4. among otitis media with effusion , chronic sinusitis and snoring in children , caused by adenoids pathological hypertrophy group of two or three diseases ; 5 . 113 cases of children by the removal of hypertrophic adenoids , supplemented by appropriate drug therapy , clinical symptoms were significantly improved . Conclusion The degree of adenoid hypertrophy eustachian tube dysfunction incidence of hearing loss was positively correlated . Hypertrophic adenoids removed an obstacle to the treatment of children with eustachian tube function and otitis media with effusion , chronic sinusitis and snoring effective and safe method . The degree of adenoidal hypertrophy and cause a variety of complications chance of a positive correlation . Found that children with adenoidal hypertrophy should also improve the secretory otitis media , chronic sinusitis and pediatric snoring check to avoid misdiagnosis , delayed the children's condition .
