Abstract


As a famous classical work,Shi-Shuo Xin Yu (Following shishuo for short)has a very profoundeffect upon the Chinese traditional culture. Shishuo regarded as the masterpiece among the zhiren novels.With its highly artistic achievement and its unique style,it spreads widely and becomes the necessary book for the literati.The thesis dissertates the issues of the dissemination and reception with the concept and the theory of the modern dissemination,the thesis researches thedissemination ways and the dissemination effects,etc. This thesis draws the outline of the condition of the dissemination circulationand its characters in the total-new prospect and many angles.The whole thesis includes three chapters.Chapter One investigates the birth of Shishuo.It puts emphasison the relationship between Character Review and Character Aesthetics.Though Character Review has an age-long origin,the first time to talk about it with the aesthetics sense is“Shi Shuo Xin Yu Time”.Through the analysis of the style ,language literature,and wirter’s mindset , explaining Shih-Shuo Xin Yu’s textual intention.Chapter two then will talks about the dissemination of shishuo in ancient China.The research of the acceptance is centered upon readers choosing its dissemination during the Song,Qi,Liang,Chen dynasties and the Tang and Song dynasty,the Yuan dynasty,the Ming andQing dynasty as cases for the research,exposing its acceptance progress by readers from different ages in different wa ys. This chapter putsemphasis on the dissemination and acceptance of Shishuo in the Tang,Song and Ming,Qing dynasties. This chapter will make a summary about the themes of the shishuo in the Tong,Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties respectively.Chapter three analyses the accepted subject and accepted style of Shishuo. Through compared readers from different ages ,exhibit the process of the dissemination extends its readers from the literati to the common people. And the accepted style of Shishuo includes thefollowing aspects:literature acceptance, recreational acceptance and appreciative acceptance.
