Objective: To investigate the chronic heart failure ( CHF ) patients with fasting adiponectin ( APN ) , tumor necrosis factor - alpha ( TNF - alpha ) levels with NYHA functional changes in left ventricular ejection fraction ( LVEF ) , left ventricular mass index ( LVMI ) , left ventricular end-diastolic diameter ( LVEDD ) correlation analysis, observation of adiponectin , tumor necrosis factor - alpha is involved in ventricular remodeling in CHF patients . Methods: 68 patients with CHF , healthy control group of 20 patients , all subjects measuring the body mass index ( BMI ) , left ventricular ejection fraction ( LVEF ) , left ventricular end-diastolic diameter ( LVEDD ) , left ventricular mass index ( LVMI ) . By enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in serum APN levels were measured by radioimmunoassay of serum TNF - alpha level . To LVEDd, LVMI as indicators of evaluation of ventricular remodeling , the LVEF as indicators of the evaluation of cardiac function , and APN , TNF -alpha linear correlation analysis . Results : 1 CHF serum APN and TNF - alpha water were higher than the healthy control group ( P lt ; 0.05 ) , and both increase with NYHA class increased ( P lt ; 0.01 ) 2 , the underlying cause different between patients with CHF the APN and TNF - alpha level was no significant difference ( P gt ; 0.05 ) 3, the linear correlation analysis : APN with a LVEF was a negative correlation , r = -0.50 , P lt ; 0.01 ; APN and a LVMI was positively correlated , r = 0.62 , P lt ; 0.01 ; APN and a LVEDd showed a positive correlation , r = 0.64 , P lt ; 0.05 ; TNF - alpha and LVEF was negatively correlated , r = -0.69 , P lt ; 0.01 ; TNF - alpha and LVEDd a positive correlation , r = 0.56 , P lt ; 0.05 . Conclusion : 1.CHF patients with APN and TNF -alpha were higher than the normal control group, and with the increased degree of cardiac function the APN and TNF - alpha increased significantly , The APN and TNF - alpha can be used as to determine the severity of CHF indicators . Between the different causes of CHF the APN and TNF - alpha level difference was not statistically significant , The APN and TNF - alpha only CHF itself , may be involved in the pathophysiology of CHF . 3.APN and TNF - alpha may be involved in ventricular remodeling in CHF .
